Poem Son of God

I trust this is not totally heretical. Those interested in such things (quantum theory) may see Shrödinger's Cat lurking around in verse five.

SON OF GOD

Jesus called God his Father
and told us to do the same.
He told us we are forgiven,
and said we are not to blame
ourselves or others.

Paul said that we are part of
God’s living and dying flesh.
He told us that, after dying,
we will be born afresh,
in God’s true kingdom.

Mark called him “Son of God”
(one of Messiah’s names);
shared in his people’s labours;
joined in their happy games,
and sorrows too.

John called Jesus “The Word”,
revealing God’s love in flesh.
He said that, through his dying,
The cosmos is born afresh,
and everything in it.

We are the sons of God now,
all of us, every one;
we create each our own worlds:
in our own minds it’s done.
So think with God.
